I was born in Texas, raised in Arizona, and have lived in Champaign-Urbana for 19 years. My bachelor's degree is in social work with a focus on child welfare, and my master's degree is in business administration with a focus on finance. I teach knitting, estate planning, and money management classes at Parkland College and host a monthly knitting club at Champaign Public Library. My husband, Jay,
and I have been married going on 21 years, and we have three daughters, ages 15, 12 and 10. They attend local public schools and I am the troop leader for our girls' Girl Scout troop. As a family, we enjoy camping and attending their archery tournaments. I like to say we are a construction trades family since my husband is a journeyman carpenter, and we understand the unique financial needs facing tradespeople and their families. To serve you well, I believe it is important to understand what you are working toward before making financial recommendations. To do this, I focus on your goals, comfort with investment risk, and time horizon, to balance the steps necessary to help you reach your long-term goals. Thank you for taking the time to find out who I am and what I will offer you through our services at Edward Jones. Whether you're planning for retirement, saving for college or just trying to protect your financial future, we can work together to develop specific strategies to help you achieve your goals.
