But life doesn't always go as expected, and insurance is there to provide financial and mental relief when the unexpected threatens to wipe us out. With so many affordable health plans and free professional help available, there's no reason to risk your health! Health insurance is essential for all, young and old.

✅TRUE or ❌FALSE: You have to meet your deductible before any benefits start.

❌FALSE: It's true that some services (like emergency room visits and in-patient stays) won't be covered until the deductible is met, but many services are covered before that! All marketplace plans MUST include $0 preventative care starting DAY 1 and many include $0 or low-cost doctor's visits, specialist visits, and prescriptions too.
