Whether your business is expanding, or just starting up, we're here to help. We are a specialized, non-profit business development organization licensed by the U. Small Business Administration (SBA), and supported by the City of Savannah and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to promote economic growth. We offer a variety of Loan Programs for new and existing businesses in our service delivery area. Mission:
The Small Business Assistance Corporation is a private, non-profit, membership organization. The Small Business Assistance Corporation is dedicated to providing professional small business support services to small businesses in the City of Savannah and the surrounding area. This Corporation will strive for socio-economic improvement for all citizens through the expansion of small businesses with a systematic focus on equitable access to capital, management assistance, and business opportunities for all segments of our community. Through these efforts, this Corporation will create employment for low or moderate income people and revitalize low-income communities. In summary, it is the intent of the SBAC to invest monies in existing, expanding businesses that will create or retain jobs, and provide a positive economic impact within its community.

We’re proud to see SBAC-funded businesses, like Sorry Charlie's Oyster Bar, making an impact both on the water and in our community with the Savannah Oyster Co.

Their work highlights how small businesses can help strengthen local industries, support research, and contribute to long-term economic growth along Georgia’s coast.

During National Seafood Month, 10% of Bull River Oyster sales will support the UGA Shellfish Research Lab and its work advancing oyster aquaculture and sustainable shellfish farming.

Success Saturday Spotlight: Just Imagine Play Village

With support from SBAC, Cynthia and Dale Byce brought Just Imagine Play Village to life in Richmond Hill, Georgia.

The educational indoor play space gives young children a place to learn, create, and play. Through USDA IRP and SSBCI financing, SBAC helped the Byces identify the right funding and provided guidance throughout the process.
