It’s important to understand your options as you age. The earlier we have the conversation, the more options you have available to you.

Here’s what to think about when considering aging in place.

Between student loans, rising housing costs, career changes, and planning for the future, millennials have a lot on their plates.

That's why having a financial plan matters. Working with a financial advisor can help you gain clarity and confidence about your next steps.

As a mom of a grown daughter, I can relate to many of the opportunities and challenges millennials face today.

I'm sharing this because I believe it's never too early (or too late!) to take control of your financial future. If you have questions, or would like to start a conversation, feel free to reach out.

What financial goal are you focusing on this year?

Recent data shows more than half of Millennials are still leaning on the Bank of Mom and Dad to some extent. Here’s how a financial plan can help you achieve true independence.

I had a conversation with a woman today that really stuck with me.

She told me she had fired her financial advisor. Not because he gave bad advice, but because every meeting seemed to be directed at her husband.

The interesting part? They both have professional careers. They both earn income. They both contribute to their family’s financial future. She even handles all of their finances at home.

She said she felt like she wasn’t really part of the conversation, even when the decisions being discussed affected her just as much.

It reminded me why so many women tell me they prefer working with another woman when it comes to finances.

Women often ask different questions. They want to understand how financial decisions impact their families, their goals, their future, and their sense of security. They want to be heard, not talked over.

That’s not to say men can’t be great financial advisors—many are. But sometimes it’s easier to sit across from someone who understands your perspective and speaks your language.

At the end of the day, financial planning should be a partnership. Everyone deserves to feel confident, informed, and included in conversations about their own money.

Have you ever felt overlooked in a professional conversation where your voice should have mattered?
