When something makes you panic, stop, pause and call.

That was one of the key takeaways Sound View Managing Partner Melissa Bouchillon shared during a recent panel co-hosted with Coastal Care Partners on financial planning, health and cybersecurity.

As Cybersecurity Awareness Month continues, it’s an important reminder that scams often rely on urgency and fear. Melissa encouraged attendees to keep their trusted team close, make sure family members know who their advisors, attorneys and CPAs are, and know who to call before responding to an unexpected request.

The conversation was also recently highlighted by Savannah CEO, bringing additional attention to the importance of staying prepared across both financial and digital security.
