What does Providence Connects mean for our community?
It means more support, more connection, and more pathways forward for neighbors facing food insecurity and crisis.
Our commitment remains the same—only our ability to serve is growing. Since forming an alliance in early 2025:
*The food pantry has expanded from operating 2.5 days a week to five, including one weeknight and one weekend day.

*The pantry is serving over 500 households per week.

*We also transitioned to a fresh choice pantry model, allowing households to select the foods that best meet their family’s needs.

*Close to 400 children received Christmas gifts.

*The food distribution network is distributing over 1 million pounds of food to 25+ partner agencies and community meals annually.
*Over 200 individuals who are currently homeless receive a hot meal, a hot shower, and case management each week at four mobile access points.

Having heath insurance is SO important!! Speaking to my clients now while renewing their plans this year just reiterates that to me 🥹 unexpected health emergencies and diagnosis made it so that they were covered this year and in many cases saved lives. I’m humbled to know that I played a small on part in saving their lives and makes me happy to know that I helped. open enrollment ends December 7th and open enrollment ends December 15 so please call me to review your plan or get enrolled before it ends!
