A PARTNERSHIP ROOTED IN SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY

The Saratoga Springs Rotary Education Foundation (SSREF), founded in 1997, proudly works with the Rotary Club of Saratoga Springs to empower the next generation of Saratoga Springs leaders through scholarships supporting four-year, two-year, and professional post-secondary education. Since our founding, SSREF has awarded nearly $1.3 million in scho

larships to over 350 local students. These outstanding young people have gone on to become doctors, educators, artists, engineers, entrepreneurs, and civic leaders who transform and enrich their communities. In 2025, SSREF awarded $101,000 in scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $20,000 each, helping these deserving students overcome financial barriers and access the education they need to succeed. High school seniors living in or attending a school in the Saratoga Springs City School District and plan to pursue a degree or program at an accredited 2- or 4-year college or vocational school are eligible to apply for a scholarship. Thank you to California Closets for once again sponsoring the annual Home and Lifestyle Show scheduled for February 28 – March 1, 2026.

Thanks to the generosity of our local sponsors, profits from the Home and Lifestyle Show help the Saratoga Springs Rotary Club fund many of the community-based giving programs throughout the year. In 2025 this included over 30 local organizations such as Wellspring, Franklin Community Center, the YMCA, Wilton Wildlife, Friends of Music, Center for the Family, Pitney Meadows and many, many others. In addition, The Rotary Club sponsors a bi-annual major gift campaign, awarding in excess of $25,000 bi-annually.

Most significantly, however, a portion of the proceeds are donated to the Saratoga Springs Rotary Education Foundation which annually grants scholarship awards for local students attending 2- and 4-year post-secondary schools. In 2025 the scholarships awarded totaled $101,000!!
