I kick myself for waiting until I was 25 to attempt to purchase a home. Last year, my fiance and I purchased our first and I'm not going to lie, we had to jump through a lot of hoops! BUT we are homeowners! We are saving HUNDREDS of dollars a month paying our mortgage vs. what we were paying in rent prior, and we've already gained a ton of equity in our home. For years I thought I couldn't purchase a home, for a lot of different reasons. And I kick myself for not educating myself and attempting to apply for a mortgage sooner. If I could go back in time I would use an FHA loan to purchase a 2 family residence, I'd live on one side and rent out the other to cover the mortgage. Had I done that back at 20 something years old, I'd have saved thousands upon thousands of dollars in rent, I'd have close to 10 years' worth of equity built, and I'd be on the road to owning a multi-family property outright. Eventually creating a cash-flowing asset for myself. Don't let time slip away! You might think you can't get a mortgage, and you might be right, BUT you could be wrong! Let me help you!
