That said, it felt like a few teams weren't talking to one another and there was confusion in reviews of documents I was asked to perform. One item to note is that many of the emails went to my spam, even though prior emails from the same auto-messaging tool went to my inbox. For that reason I missed a few key requests which delayed progress. If it wasn't for Alana Negrin reaching out, I wouldn't have known my file was delayed and I could have missed closing. Also, it took me a few days to get in touch with my lender to lock in my rate. I felt like I had to track the rates on-line myself and could have missed a low window. Would have been nice to have that pro-actively tracked for me.
