One chapter closes. A stronger future begins.

Congratulations to Angela Begin on becoming the owner of Strengthening the Suncoast in Lakewood Ranch, formerly 20 Minutes to Fitness LWR.

Virginia Phillips opened the studio in 2004. Angela joined shortly thereafter, became a minority shareholder, and helped turn the business into a success. When Virginia was ready to retire, Celine Dufresne helped prepare the business for sale. Angela stepped into the opportunity to acquire Virginia’s ownership interest. With Celine’s assistance, the deal was structured and SBA financing was obtained.

On September 30, 2026, Angela became the owner. The studio will continue its focused, time-efficient strength-training approach, with individual monitoring by certified personal trainers.

Congratulations, Angela. And happy retirement, Virginia.
