Adjustable Rate Mortgages and Mortgage Rate Buydowns can lower your monthly payments, but be sure you don't only make the the lower payment.

With Mortgage Rate Buy downs and Adjustable rates, the lower rate only lasts for a few years or so.

Get used to making a higher monthly payment from the beginning, so when the mortgage buydown's rates are gone and adjustable rates may have pushed upward, you will be used to making the higher payments, and will be you able to handle the "new" payment with ease.
