If a yoga studio or event venue asks you for insurance documentation, do you know exactly what they mean?

A Certificate of Insurance shows proof that you have active coverage.

Additional Insured Status can provide another party with certain protections under your policy.

They are not the same thing, and some studios or venues may require both.

Knowing the difference can help you show up prepared for your next class, workshop, or retreat.
