Meet the Faces Behind Integrity Bookkeeping Pros
It’s been a while since we properly introduced ourselves, so here goes!
We’re Malinda and David Olupitan, the founders and owners of Integrity Bookkeeping Pros.
Bookkeeping may be in our name, but that’s never been the whole story. We started IBP because we want business owners to actually understand their numbers and feel good about the decisions they make with them.
For Malinda, this is personal. She’s owned businesses in several industries, including one that grew to seven figures, and she learned the hard way that making money and knowing the financial health of your business are two very different things. Later, while working in banking, she saw how many other owners were dealing with the same problem. That’s a big part of why IBP exists.
Malinda has nearly 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur and holds certifications in Accounting and Finance and Organizational Leadership from Harvard Business School Online.
David has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and just finished his MBA. As our CFO, he’s continuing his training in CFO advisory services and advanced financial reporting.
So between us, we’ve got both sides covered: we know what it’s like to run a business, and we know the numbers that keep it running.
This past year we’ve been working hard behind the scenes. We’ve grown our team, improved our systems, and kept learning so we can offer more than monthly bookkeeping. Our goal is to help you understand not just what happened last month, but why it happened and what to do next. That means more focus on cash flow, profitability, forecasting, and real business guidance.
We’re also working more closely than ever with our sister company, Tax With Integrity, because your books and your taxes should be working together.
At the end of the day, we never forget that there’s a real person behind every set of financials. Someone who took a risk, maybe a family depending on that business, and employees counting on a paycheck. We’ve been there ourselves. We know what it feels like to build something from scratch and lie awake wondering if you’re making the right call.
That’s why we do this work. We want you to have the clarity and support to build something that lasts.
