Last month the City passed a Resolution declaring the month of May as Sgt. Bill Hooser Memorial Month of Service. Every May from now on you'll see these flags lining Main Street.

This morning dozens of volunteers showed up to provide much needed service to our neighbors in the city, cleaning up yards, homes, and anything else they needed. It was the first Saturday of service projects of the summer. Follow the Santaquin My Hometown page for information regarding the other Saturdays.

It was incredible to see how many showed up, and I hope more and more come in the future.
