Elvia began her real estate career working in the family real estate development business. There, she assisted clients with both their real estate and mortgage needs. Elvia brought her experience to Northern California in 2000 when she made the move from Houston to be closer to her future husband Chris to Cloverdale. Elvia settled into her new Cloverdale residence, then immediately obtained her California Real Estate License. Elvia began the process of building her reputation as a competent, qualified, go-to mortgage producer in the North Bay. Elvia started her California career with First Priority in Santa Rosa. In 2004, Elvia gave birth to daughter Renatta, and decided to take a position closer to her Cloverdale home. She associated with Laurel Hills Mortgage in Healdsburg in 2005. At Laurel Hills, Elvia became well known in the Healdsburg/Cloverdale real estate communities for her mortgage knowledge, her kind approach and dedication to her clients, and her ability to always get the job done. Elvia is also known for her efforts within the community. While in Houston, Elvia employed her bi-lingual skills as a volunteer at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital, where she helped non-English speaking patients understand and cope with their challenges. In Cloverdale, she served as a member of the board of the Cloverdale Boys and Girls Club and is active with the Cloverdale Rotary. Elvia currently serves on the Women’s Council of Realtors in Santa Rosa, and also served as a mentor at the California Parenting Institute, where she worked with new and at-risk parents to insure child safety. In early 2007, Elvia brought her wide range of skills and experience to Blue Oak Mortgage Corporation. Her clients and the Realtors she works seek her out because they know she is the real deal: an experienced and competent loan officer, as well as a genuinely kind and caring person.
