He has been a resident of Sonoma County since. Marquez has been originating residential mortgage loans since 2001, when he received his real estate sales license. As a young Loan Officer, he dedicated a lot of time and energy into serving his clients and growing his mortgage lending business. Luis has extensive knowledge of sales and marketing which has made him a successful loan officer. This inv

estment of hard work and commitment resulted in helping him become the Rookie of The Year and remaining among the Top 10 Producers company-wide. At the height of the recession, he left his previous employer to launch his own small mortgage brokerage. Due to market challenges at that time, his company merged with Bay Equity to become the first retail branch. This relationship in Bay Equity’s early history has given Luis the opportunity to pursue his career and business goals working alongside the Bay Equity Family.
