975, and as a 1984 graduate in Economics from Sonoma State University, I have embraced the diversity and beauty this county has to offer. Home is where our families grow. My wonderful wife of 30 years, Libby, and I, have reared our two sons from boys to men. One son still lives in Santa Rosa and the other son is rearing his own family in Hawaii. The entrepreneurial spirit flourishes in this county. I was one of three partners that started Pizza Gourmet in 1988 on a shoe-string budget. We grew the business from the ground up; opening two restaurants over the next 5 years. The restaurants were ranked among the top 100 independent pizza restaurants in the nation by PIZZA TODAY magazine, and won numerous national and local awards. I truly understand the challenges of running a business, and navigating the bureaucratic maze that it entails. Originating mortgages since 2001, I found a career that utilized my aptitude for numbers and solving problems.
