Both of my grandfathers served - my mom was born in Hawai’i when my grandpa was stationed there (and before it was a state!). I have countless friends, family, and past & current bosses and co-workers who have served. Helping an active duty or veteran service members achieve homeownership via the VA Home Loan is one of my favorite parts of my job.

I did not expect to find myself on the leaderboard this month. January brought more refinance opportunities to both new and past clients. It’s an amazing feeling helping someone get into their new home; but it’s really exciting when there’s an opportunity to lower a monthly payment - especially as everything else seems to just get more and more expensive.

What a December. What a YEAR! Honestly, I am savoring being in the Top 3 while I can. Glenn is back from taking some time off origination to focus on GTG behind-the-scenes, and between his come back, my other amazing colleagues, and the addition of our newest loan officer, Claire… I don’t think I’ll be on the board much in 2026 😅 But truthfully, the positivity and support that GTG Financial offers everyone no matter where they finish in production is incredible. I’m grateful to be part of such a great company.

I know that this is really impressive, and I am genuinely proud of myself… but HOLY MOLY am I even more disappointed than ever that my (sole) February closing rolled to March due to a misfiled permit at the county. If it wasn’t for February, I would have been on a 14 month streak. Nonetheless, I am beyond grateful for every single client I’ve gotten to work with this year. Here’s to 2026 and (hopefully) continuing my funding streak throughout the entire New Year! Thank you for trusting me with your home loan. 💖🏡
