Today I got to give back at my kids’ school. They do this AMAZING back to school event, and this is the second year I’ve volunteered at the Dunk Tank. My kids’ friend threw the first ball and down I went. It feels great to give back. 💙

Both of my grandfathers served - my mom was born in Hawai’i when my grandpa was stationed there (and before it was a state!). I have countless friends, family, and past & current bosses and co-workers who have served. Helping an active duty or veteran service members achieve homeownership via the VA Home Loan is one of my favorite parts of my job.

I did not expect to find myself on the leaderboard this month. January brought more refinance opportunities to both new and past clients. It’s an amazing feeling helping someone get into their new home; but it’s really exciting when there’s an opportunity to lower a monthly payment - especially as everything else seems to just get more and more expensive.
