Feeling excited for this client and proud of what we have been able to accomplish together so I wanted to share. I met my client about a year ago and at that time she was not ready to purchase a home. We built a plan for her to improve her credit score, pay down some debt, continue to save and finish her schooling resulting in full time employment and a substantial jump in pay. Of course during this time prices rose considerably along with a huge jump in interest rates. She is also an FHA buyer which unfortunately makes things even more difficult in this crazy environment. Well, I am happy to say that she is in contract and will be closing the end of this month!
That’s the way we do things here at Guild!
One last thought. The last couple of years have been out of control and we have probably all heard countless stories about people not being able to achieve the dream of homeownership (75% of transactions are going to cash buyers, investors, and people with large down payments)! Even those folks can have challenges.
The thing that kills me is when I hear of so many stories where borrowers are working with terrible loan officers and/or Realtors that don’t know how to write offers, structure deals, or have any kind of creativity and the poor borrowers stick with them?? 😕🤔
FACT: There are many people that have no business being in this industry so please do your homework and if things aren’t working look for a second opinion! There are still plenty of professionals that believe in doing the right thing for YOU and willing to help you out.
