When I was in high school my classmates were very mean to me. I would definitely say I was bullied. I did not wear the right clothes, I did not play the right sports because I was told I had no experience. It was so bad I actually graduated early and never went to school my senior year. No prom - no graduation – no friends. Those years of making bonds with people never happened. I was 19 year old and relocated 3 hours from where I was raised and told myself I would never let people treat me the way I was treated. I was so very desperate to survive on my own and find my own people. I got my cosmetology license and Real Estate license about the same time as everyone was graduating high school. I worked as hard as I could to never look back.

I am also a very positive person and took that through life and tried to bury it, forget it and not think about those years. Fast forward a few years and I look back at that experience and see what it taught me.

1. Learn to not stress the small stuff. Seasons in our life change one way or another.
2. Always show people how much I care, because I do. I will never treat anyone the way I was treated.
3. In life you get back what you project. I don’t wish on my worst enemy the last few years of the journey in my life The overwhelming amount of love that I receive on a daily basis from friends, clients; who are now friends and complete strangers even, is invaluable to me.

As hard as things can be they shape our life and hopefully make us better humans. 🙏🙏🙏
