Meet our newest member, Financial Advisor & Planner SHAEN WAKED, and hear his very informative presentation on financial matters!

Shawn is the owner of Maestro Financial Partners and an independent financial advisor affiliated with Raymond James. He has spent more than 20 years in financial services, helping individuals, families, and business owners make better decisions about investments, retirement, tax-aware planning, risk management, and estate planning. Shawn holds a Master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and also holds a graduate certificate in Financial Therapy from K-State. His background includes work with the Financial Therapy Association and a particular focus on behavioral finance—the psychology behind how people make decisions about money. Shawn will talk about what he does for his clients, what a good referral looks like, and why some of the biggest financial mistakes people make have less to do with math than with how our brains are wired.

Since joining the team, she has established a strong relationship with Santa Fe Public Schools launching their Teacher Appreciation Program, is closing a deal with the Christus St. Vincent Foundation, to honor an outstanding healthcare worker each month, has successfully completed five HEART restaurant events and launched NM's first Accident Scent Management class in September. In her free time, Lisa enjoys weekend trips to explore the natural beauty of New Mexico that include hiking, nature photography and the peace that comes along with that. She also enjoys live music and trying new restaurants in the Santa Fe area.
