From community partnerships and celebrations to marathons and team highlights, May was a standout month at West Coast Community Bank.
• WCCB bankers supported NAMIWalks’ inaugural 5K and 1-mile walk at Toro County Park in Salinas, benefiting free mental health education and advocacy services.
• We participated in the Fight Stroke Walk to support stroke awareness, prevention and timely treatment in Santa Clara County.
• Our bankers celebrated with families and students at the Sacred Heart Nativity School Fiesta.
• Marshall Delk showed his WCCB spirit on an Alaskan cruise during “Orange Night.”
• Alison Voorhees attended the opening night reception for Mojada: A Medea in Los Angeles, presented by the UC Santa Cruz Arts Division.
• We helped United Way of Monterey County Stuff the Bus with school supplies for students across the region.
• Emily Ruvalcaba and Alison Voorhees joined Hunger at Home board members to learn more about efforts to fight food insecurity in San Jose.
• Our bankers volunteered at the Spring Lamb BBQ in Watsonville, helping raise funds for the American Cancer Society and Jacob’s Heart.
• WCCB supported the Be the Difference Awards on May 20 at The Grove, where the bank sponsored the Arts & Culture category and Kim Luke introduced the award.
• We also came out in force at the Salinas Valley Fair in King City, volunteering at the BBQ grill and the junior livestock auction.
We look forward to continuing these partnerships and creating even more opportunities to support and celebrate our communities.
