We’ve seen an increase in customers receiving fraudulent text messages claiming to be from Spencer County Bank about a suspicious or fraudulent charge on their account.

These messages are designed to create urgency and get you to respond, click a link, call a phone number, or provide personal or account information.

If you receive a suspicious text or call:

🔹 Do not reply to the message.
🔹 Do not click any links.
🔹 Do not call the phone number provided in the message.
🔹 Never provide your account number, debit card information, PIN, online banking password, or one-time verification codes.
