The Federal Reserve recently lowered its rate by 0.25%, but don’t expect this change to impact long-term mortgage rates directly. Mortgage rates are influenced by other economic factors, and the Fed’s short-term adjustments don’t always trickle down to the 30-year mortgage rates people rely on for buying a home. It’s happens at a slower pace! Home Equity lines and loans,however, have dropped.

The good news? Since the recent election, mortgage rates have actually seen some improvement! 📉 Whether you’re considering buying, refinancing, or just keeping an eye on the market, it’s great to see rates offering a bit more breathing room.
