Happy hump day everyone! We are half way through the week. We hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable 4th of July.

This we want to talk about knowing the difference between a "comparative market analysis" and an "appraisal." As a seller, you will automatically know what your house is worth. As a buyer, you will automatically want to know if the house is actually worth what you're paying for. The way to go about answering these questions is from a comparative market analysis on the seller side and an appraisal done on the buyer side.

We're half way through the work week. We've talked about things you should do before putitng your house on the market. However, today for we want to talk about what NOT to do when putting your house on the market.

Putting up a house for sale can be stressful. So be sure to lower your stress by not over renovating. Yes, you should always fix broken things. Just remember when adding extra upgrades to the house not everyone will agree.

Also be sure to not hang around the open house. It may make potenial buyers feel uncomfortable. People are less likey to express concerns and ask questions while the owners are there.
