But sometimes a simple insurance update turns into a bunch of follow-up questions, and suddenly we sound like we’re preparing for a courtroom trial. 😆

Where are you moving? When did you buy the car? Who else is driving it? Wait, WHEN did that happen?!

All jokes aside, there’s a reason we ask so many questions! The little details can make a big difference when it comes to your insurance, and we want to make sure we understand your situation before making any updates.

There's something about fall that makes you want to get your entire life together. 😆🍃

Clean out the closet. Replace the batteries. Finally organize that one cabinet. Make the appointment you've been putting off since March...

so while you're checking things off the list, add your insurance to it!

A LOT can change over the course of a year without you really thinking about it. Maybe you renovated part of your home, bought something valuable, added a driver, changed how you use your car, or have an insurance question that's been sitting in the back of your mind.

You don't need to wait until renewal (or until something happens) to bring it up.

Fall in Santa Barbara looks a little different🍂

We might not have the dramatic changing leaves or a real reason to pull out the heavy sweaters, but I’d argue we have a pretty great version of fall anyway.

Pumpkin patches, cooler beach walks, day trips to the Santa Ynez Valley, local events, farmers markets, and patios we can still sit on well into October. 🌴

These are the little things that make this time of year so fun here, and one of the reasons I love getting to call Santa Barbara home. ❤️

Apparently “we offer commercial auto insurance again” was all they needed to hear. 😂🚗💨

Commercial auto insurance is officially back for California businesses, and clearly some of you are VERY excited about it. (Maybe not crash-through-the-front-door excited, but we appreciate the enthusiasm. 😆)

If you use a vehicle as part of running your business—whether you’re heading to job sites, transporting equipment, making deliveries, or using it for other business purposes—it may be worth having a conversation about commercial auto coverage.

Not every business or vehicle will qualify, which is why the easiest place to start is simply giving us a call or text and telling us a little about what you do.

There’s a LOT of noise around homeowners insurance in California right now and depending on who you ask, you might walk away with a completely different version of what’s happening. 😅

And I get it. Rates are changing, some homeowners are dealing with non-renewals, wildfire risk continues to be a major factor, and navigating your options can feel frustrating.

But one thing I don’t want you to do? Make decisions about your own home based entirely on someone else’s experience.

Insurance is incredibly specific to the property, location, policy, and individual situation. Your neighbor’s experience isn’t necessarily going to be yours.

The best thing you can do is stay informed, pay attention to communication about your policy, and ask questions sooner rather than later.

You may not be able to control what’s happening across the California insurance market, but you can understand what’s happening with YOUR coverage.

There’s a difference between having a business in Santa Barbara and really feeling like you’re part of the community here!

For me, that means getting out of the office, showing up, and supporting the people and events that make this place what it is.

Getting to sponsor She.Is.Beautiful 10k and 5k was such a fun example of that. Seeing so many women, families, friends, and local businesses come together to cheer each other on was exactly the kind of energy I love being around. 👏

I’m incredibly grateful that this business gives me opportunities to give back to a community that has supported me and my team for so many years.

We may spend our days talking insurance, but getting to know, support, and grow alongside the people who live here will always be one of my favorite parts of the job. ❤️

I spend a lot of time talking about life insurance, but behind every conversation is a really simple reason why I believe in it so much ❤️

Because I have my people, too.

The people I want to take care of. The little everyday moments I never want to take for granted. The family and life we’re building together. And yes, the dogs absolutely count. 😂

So when I sit down with a customer to talk about life insurance, I’m not just thinking about policies or paperwork. I’m thinking about their version of this.

Their people. Their family. Their why.

September may be Life Insurance Awareness Month, but this is why the conversation matters to me all year long.
