Sign up for notifications from AwareandPrepare.org and receive notifications from the cities of Santa Barbara (Police & Fire); Buellton; Carpinteria; Goleta; Guadalupe; Lompoc; Santa Maria; and, Solvang. As well as Santa Barbara County Fire.

Another great notification site is Nixle.com/public-safety-communications. With Nixle you can specify which cities or areas you would like to receive information on. I have added Huntington Beach, where my daughter lives and Berkeley, where my son goes to school. This site also includes alerts from Cal Fire.

Check out these great sites for emergency information including; weather, fire, missing persons, etc. I just forwarded a missing persons report to my son about an older woman with dementia missing in Berkeley.
