Hey Gauchos! There are current positions to join Finance & Business for the 2021-2022 school year!

Are you interested in learning about funding and budget implementations of UCSB’s Associated Students? AS Finance and Business is an Administrative Committee under the Office
of the Internal Vice President. ASFB serves the UC Santa Barbara student body by facilitating the financial allocation of student fees.

By streamlining the budgetary process to outreaching to student organizations, the committee seeks to make funds easier to access. The Finance and Business Committee makes it possible for student organizations to host programs, events, and other student expenditures and are constantly looking for ways to improve and grow. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Finance and Business is currently in the process of transitioning remotely, therefore we ask that you remain patient with us through these unprecedented times.

SPRING 2020 UPDATE (https://asfb.as.ucsb.edu/spring-2020-update/)

Hello!

I hope everyone is well and healthy during these difficult times.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Finance and Business Committee will not be meeting for the remainder of the school year. As an alternative to in-person meetings and office hours, the following two forms were created:

If you were funded for a Spring Quarter event, please fill out this form: https://asfb.as.ucsb.edu/spring-response-form/
This form will let Associated Students know if you cancelled or postponed your event. You can also request for a reimbursement for said event or have the funds be rolled over to the next fiscal year which starts on July 1, 2020.

If you are requesting funds for the remainder of the year, please fill out this form:
https://asfb.as.ucsb.edu/spring-request-form/
If you are asking for a reallocation of previously approved funds (from events prior to Spring Quarter), use this form.

As of right now, the online requisition form is still in progress. As soon as that is available, it will be posted on this page, Finance and Business’ website, and Associated Students’ homepage.
