⚠️ Part B: delay without other coverage, and your premium can go up 10% for every 12 months you waited — for life.
⚠️ Part D: skip drug coverage too long, and a monthly penalty gets added for as long as you have it.

Every year, scammers target people on Medicare — and their calls can sound very real. Here are 3 warning signs to watch for:

🚩 1. They ask for your Medicare number or Social Security number over the phone.
🚩 2. They pressure you to "act now" or threaten that your benefits will be canceled.
🚩 3. They offer free gifts, cash, or "extra benefits" just to sign you up.

✅ Remember this: Medicare will never call you out of the blue to ask for your personal information.

If you ever get a call like this, don't share anything. Hang up, take a breath, and ask someone you trust. When in doubt, we're always happy to help you check — no pressure, no cost.
