Nick Byrne went home with Jesus last night. He was a vital member of our family and our team.

Growing Again!

We are looking for two experienced and professional Automotive Mechanic/Technicians to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles at our reconditioning facility and also helping us open to the public for the first time in 8 years! Successful candidates would have a minimum of five (5) years professional experience as a full-time mechanic/technician and would have most or all of their own tools.

Please read through the responsibilities and qualifications below. If you can check off these boxes, we look forward to learning more about you!

Responsibilities:

Complete standard repairs to include but not limited to: Timing Chains, Suspension Work, AC/Heater Repair, Valve Covers Gaskets, Belts, O2 Sensors, Camshaft Position Sensors, Brakes, Control Arms, Sway-Bar Links, Shocks, Struts, & more.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance: Oil Changes, Tune-Ups, Tire Rotations, Tire Changes, Tire Balancing, and more.
Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to ensure vehicle's readiness.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a mechanic/technician
Knowledge of shop equipment
Valid Drivers License
Have Own tools
Excellent Time management skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to stay focused on the task at hand
Ability to work without constant supervision
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
ASE preferred but not required
Take PRIDE in being a Professional

Texas Motor Acceptance offices will be closed from October 17th through October 24th & will re-open for normal business hours Tuesday, October 27th. You may still contact us by phone, email, & text. If you need to make payments in person, you may do so at Family First Automotive. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but it has been a long year thus far & a short break will recharge the batteries. Texas Motor Acceptance in Sanger, Texas has an immediate opening for an Office Assistant.

This position would be responsible for weekly insurance verification, managing phone system, mail-out notifications, organizing & filing documents, expediting insurance claims, data entry, assisting in account receivables/collections, & other duties as assigned.

The position requires the ability to multi-task, maintain excellent attendance as well as being on-time, work closely with others, ability to follow instructions, knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook), & the ability to handle confidential information & keep it confidential.

Thirty (30) hours per week to start but with the right person this could lead to a full-time position.

Tuesday through Friday 11a-5p & Saturday 10a-4p. $10-$12/hr to start.
