Our State Farm Insurance agency is located at 8650 S State Street in Sandy, UT just North of Jordan Commons and the Rio Tinto Stadium. We are looking for a new team member with a sales focus. The ideal candidate will be aggressive in sales, customer service centric, result-oriented, reliable and money motivated. A base pay + sales commission will be offered to the selected candidate.
Our new team member will be expected to develop client relationships to promote State Farm Insurance and State Farm Bank products. We will support you by providing guidance, training, and sponsoring licensing. If you are highly motivated, results-driven, and have a positive mental attitude, we want you! Successful candidates will be goal-oriented self-starters who can demonstrate an above average talent for setting and achieving aggressive goals. You must have a positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
Requirements:
• STRONG SALES ABILITY
• Bi-Lingual -- Spanish: a plus but not required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health Insurance license.
• Ability to work cohesively within a team.
• Fast learner with ability to multi-task, organize and pay attention to details.
• Ability to cold call, respond to internet leads, and customer follow-up to set appointments.
• Ability to work with timelines in order to meet sales goals.
• Take initiative and act effectively both individually and as a member of a team.
• Outgoing and compassionate personality who can build professional relationships with clients.
• Computer skills
• Results oriented.
• Highly effective communication skills - oral, written and group.
• Demonstrate negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers.

• Candidates who are currently licensed will be given primary consideration.
Compensation: Hourly base + sales commissions. Income should be $40,000 or more depending on sales ability - upwards of $65,000.
