Our dear friend Mr. Dan Cummings recently passed and we wanted to show our appreciation for this Jolly soul by sharing a story.

Dan was known as Mr. Cummings to the Jolly family and to know him is to know the sweetest, most kind and loving person you could ever hope to meet.

Mr. Cummings came in every single morning, suited and booted for work, a big smile on his face and ready to order an apple fritter, of which half would go home to his son.

This man embodied our core values and when we asked him to do a photo shoot, he was so excited, and in Mr. Cummings fashion he showed up looking like a million bucks.

He loved his late wife, oh did he love her, his family and his pride for his career was something to behold. Quiet, Calm, Joyful and loving, rest in peace Mr. Cummings, we'll miss you

We want to thank all of you for reaching out, with cards, phone calls, personal visits and posts. Our dad was a special man. If there is any confusion, we are still open. What else would a Cummings do other than work? However, our physical hours will be inconsistent for a bit as we navigate our new normal and find time to grieve both of our parents properly.

A special Thank You to our current clients for trusting us knowing we share our dad's belief that if you make a promise or enter an obligation with someone you honor it, even if it's difficult. The trust our dad created with his clients, is the same trust we create with ours and that will continue as we make loans to the third and even the fourth generation of our dads original clients.

We look forward to meeting new clients and helping them purchase homes and create their own family memories.

We were blessed to spend as much time with both of our parents as we did. Life is short and this is a reminder if you still have your parents and haven't talked to them in a while, call them, stop in to visit if you are able. Don't wait until the next holiday or family get together.

We will miss him but he lives on with us.

Thanks Tracy for the great suggestion. Get your loan, get your home, and then get a furry friend. Adopt a pet from Humane Society of Erie County Ohio or Erie County Dog Pound, two of our favorite animal loving places.
