🎉🌟We are nearing the Holiday Season and the San Marcos Lions Club is asking for donations. This year we are targeting to increase that presence like never before. The donations will go towards supporting the San Marcos Lions Club Foundation www.sanmarcoslions.org, San Marcos Lions Club Youth Scholarship Program as well as supporting Just In Time program for foster youth https://jitfosteryouth.org.

The scholarship program is designed to provide full or subsidized financial aid for youth involved in San Marcos based non-profit programs which includes fees to participate in the San Marcos Boys and Girls Club, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, the Leos’ Club, and other after school programs and summer camps. It is our firm belief that financially supporting our youth will grow strong leaders for the future of our community. Our fund-raising goal is $7,000. For 2024, we raised more than $6,000.

Your help is important to ensure the success of this year’s fundraising event. We are asking for your financial support to support all these causes. The San Marcos Lions Club Foundation is a 501(c)3 public foundation so your gift will qualify as a charitable donation.

The San Marcos Lions Club Foundation focuses its efforts on local school age children and senior citizens whose economic means do not allow them to seek out the discovery and treatment of sight and/or hearing infirmities. We also provide vision screenings for the kids in the San Marcos school district.

Donations can be mailed to the address above with the check made payable to the San Marcos Lions Club Foundation. If you want the funds to be applied to a specific cause that we support, then please indicate so on your check or in a note. Let us make this fundraiser one of the most successful for the benefit of eyesight throughout the North County and one of the most enjoyable for our community's less fortunate youth and seniors.
