As Cyclone Two is heading for the Southern Windward Islands a Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada and its dependencies.

Also, a Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for the Coast of Venezuela from Pedernales to Cumana, including all islands off the coast of Venezuela.

Therefore, we are implementing the following underwriting restrictions immediately for the Lesser Antilles, Windward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada and its dependencies.

The entire coast of Venezuela, outlying islands, Colombia.

Finally with the holiday weekend upon us (we are closed Monday and Tuesday) and the track of the storm heading over Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras and El Salvador expected to gain Hurricane status

NOTE: Restrictions will take effect immediately following publication of the hurricane or tropical storm watch or warning and remain in force until 48 hours after the hurricane or tropical storm watch or warning is removed.

Reports have been received that Panamanian flag vessel MAINE DREAM (32,309gt, built 2012) ran aground today, south of Baton Rouge.


MAINE DREAM had sailed from Brazil around 27th July en route to the US. The bulk carrier which is fully loaded remains aground.
