Erin joined Heart of the Valley Wealth Advisors in 2026. Prior to joining the team, she worked in the IT industry, helping clients use technology solutions to achieve their goals. In her role with our team, Erin assists with scheduling, incoming client requests, meeting preparation and keeping the Menasha office organized. She is excited to continue her client-focused work by connecting clients with our team and supporting them as they pursue their financial goals.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. Together, they enjoy camping, playing cards and games, working on puzzles and riding bikes. In her personal time, Erin enjoys jogging, trying new soup recipes and volunteering in the community.

We’re excited to introduce Insurance Support Associate Jessica Avena and Associate Justin Sonnentag, who recently joined our team and are already making a positive impact.

👋 Jessica Avena joined Heart of the Valley Wealth Advisors in 2026 and brings over 9 years of experience in the financial industry, with a strong focus on life insurance and annuities. Jessica supports our clients by handling insurance and annuity questions and applications, and she also assists Financial Consultant Troy Beck and Wealth Advisor Tom Bruckner by joining client meetings and taking detailed notes. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dog, as well as baking, sewing, and reading.

👋 Justin Sonnentag joined Thrivent in 2025 and became part of the Heart of the Valley Wealth Advisors team in 2026. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay in 2022 with a degree in Business Administration, emphasizing Marketing. Justin was drawn to our team because of Troy and Tom’s relationship focused approach and commitment to always acting in clients’ best interests. He’s excited to support the meaningful work we do helping clients gain clarity and confidence in their financial lives. When he’s not at work, Justin enjoys playing guitar, woodworking, watching the Packers, and spending time with friends and family.
