Proof that your bank does NOT want to help you with a loan modification.
Many major lenders use an internet based platform in which documents and necessary info is exchanged between the lender and the home borrower or contracted authorized 3rd party so that a successful short sale can be completed.
Yet, the same major lenders will NOT use an internet based platform to exchange documents to help the borrower attempt to get a loan modification, when the paperwork is the SAME EXACT NEEDED PAPERWORK minus the purchase agreement & listing agreement.
Why banks do NOT use the internet platform for loan modifications: is that it allows them to delay the process with lost paperwork, missed faxes, missed phone calls, unanswered voice mail messages, easy for them not to update the file to keep it moving. This is continually done to this day! And on rare occasion, straight out lies via phone only from the banks, please note we are referring to "Bank of America."
The banks DO NOT want to help you with a modification, and our government is doing VERY LITTLE now to help these still struggling home owners.
