As a small business owner for now almost 40 years, I am very concerned about a new law that was put into effect on 1-1-24 called the Corporate Transparency Act. It is going to impact over 30,000,000 small business owners in America, and yes I said 30,000,000. No media is posting on this and I have been studying under a national expert for the last 10 months how this is going to impact us. If you are a C Corp, S Corp, LLC, Sole Prop, etc and don't meet the exemptions, you will start getting civil fines of $500.00 per day starting 1-1-25 if you do not comply.
