After 65 years in business, Foley Mortgage (E.F. Foley & Co. Inc.) will be closing its doors for good on January 31, 2023.
As many of you know Pam has been re-elected to the San Jose City Council for another four year term. It is a full time job that leaves little time for Foley Mortgage.
I turned 68 this year and would like to enjoy some extended time off and do something different. Cheryl Mehe’ula, our senior loan officer, will be exploring her options in the mortgage loan business with another broker.
Servicing of our existing loans will be handled by PLM Lender Services, Inc. PLM is a local company that we have worked with for more than 25 years. PLM is well respected and has a 40 year history in loan management. Corinna, who handles our servicing, and Trista, our administrative accountant, will be joining PLM when we close our office.
We are very grateful to the generations of borrowers, realtors, loan brokers and most of all the lenders and their families that have trusted us and become part of our lives. I’m sure my father, Gene Foley, who opened his little loan office on Lincoln Avenue in 1957, would be proud of all the people we have helped over the years.
