Fear kept this client from filing taxes. Getting the numbers organized led to a substantial refund that helped fund their next move. 🙌

Once we got the financial information organized and gave the tax professional what they needed, the outcome was very different from what she feared:

$30K–$40K months can look great on paper and still leave you wondering what you can safely pay yourself. That was the reality for one client.

The business was profitable, had a strong team, and solid marketing, but once we looked beyond the P&L at cash, liabilities, and owner draws, we could see the bigger picture.

🚫 The question wasn’t just, “Are we profitable?”
🎯 It was, “What can this business actually afford?”

A million-dollar company can still bleed $250k. 😵💫 What’s important is understanding the numbers so you can see why and how to fix it.

Cleaning up & restructuring the books for where the business is now (and where it wants to go) and using the information to make profitable decisions was crucial for this company.

Today, they are profitable, have cash in the bank, and are looking at scaling and expanding.

Are you ghosting your relationship with money? 👻

This habit is personal for me.

I was told women don’t need to worry about money as a child. So, I used to ignore my ‘books’. Numbers made me anxious. I’d tighten up and ignore them another day. That habit led me to bankruptcy. I don’t want that for you.

This judgment, shame, and fear are the same for everyone.

But here's what I tell every client ➡️ when those feelings show up, ask them to take a hike!

Instead, approach your numbers with curiosity and an openness to learn more, because anything you find in your numbers, you can fix with a plan.
