The federal government just made an update that could help make higher-priced homes easier to afford for some buyers. For 2023, high-balance conforming loan limits have increased to $1,089,300 in and $861,350 in Conforming loans have less stringent qualifying standards than Jumbo loans among other benefits such as lower down payment and no reserve requirements.
