In mid-2023, we acquired Saddlehorn Vista Apartments, a 192-unit, garden style apartment complex located in Southwest Fort Worth. We recently re-branded the property to “The Range” and implemented new signage. See the before at the bottom and the after at the top of the image.

Value-add apartment investing can provide current cash flow, and combined with creative and targeted improvements, can often provide higher returns to investors. Historically, we have been able to produce investment returns normally seen in higher-risk developments. But with the added benefit of a much lower risk strategy. How do we do it? We know how to create meaningful amenities, execute high-ROI unit renovations, and reduce energy costs through sustainable practices.

At Calvera, we invest in apartment buildings through discretionary funds where we receive capital from numerous investors. Sometimes, investors really like a particular deal and they want more of it. To accommodate those investors, we offer the ability to co-invest alongside the fund, so they have extra exposure to that single asset.
