"Why didn’t my financial planner tell me about this?”
Some do bring up reverse mortgages, but here’s the catch: to actually discuss the loan details, they’d need a mortgage license. And most planners just don’t understand reverse mortgages well enough to break them down or run the numbers. So they avoid it.
