Saladin, an insurtech company based out of Vietnam, successfully completed its Series A funding round in August 2023. 

Patamar Capital invested in the company's pre-seed round alongside Peak XV Partners and Venturra Capital and continued to support Saladin in the most recent round led by Monk Hill Ventures.

Saladin plans to use the capital to accelerate the development of technology and insurance products and expand its marketing, sales partnership networks, and customer support services, thereby improving financial inclusion across Vietnam.

The Indonesia Impact Alliance (IIA) launched in May 2023 with the vision of creating collaborative, non-competing, and inclusive impact investment facilitation. The organisation is supported by the Ministry of National Development Planning, UNDP, and the Ford Foundation.

The IIA is also affiliated with the Global Steering Group (GSG), a UK-based organisation catalysing impact investment in over 36 countries.

Dondi Hananto, Patner at Patamar Capital, was appointed to the first Board of the IIA alongside notable VC experts and Indonesian government officials. We at Patamar Capital are excited to continue our journey of spearheading impact investing in the Southeast Asian region.

This Benchmark helps investors gain a better understanding of their impact targets, calculate standard impact metrics, and align their impact performance to their SDG targets.
