On a large ground-up build, the cash-flow squeeze is the deposits on long-lead materials, the windows, trusses, and custom orders suppliers want paid weeks before anything reaches the site.

Some construction lenders fund work in place only, so that capital sits on the builder's books until the material is installed and inspected.

We are changing that. On ground-up construction over $2 million, Conventus now treats material deposits as draw-eligible.
