Big Vision demands an Economic Strategy 💡📈.

Pastor Kurt & East Coast International Church lives this by developing affordable housing above its church and coffee shop creating stability for young adults transitioning out of foster care. This effort promotes dignity and opportunity while also strengthening Lynn’s local economy.

By creating an economic halo effect the church supports small businesses and workforce development. This model shows how faith and finance can come together to build a stronger, more resilient community 💪.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to have presented on economic development models focused on building sustainable “economic abbeys”, spaces where faith, community, and enterprise come together to create lasting impact.

It was a privilege to share this work with the Missio Mosaic: A Missional Society of the Evangelical Episcopal Communion, a community deeply committed to holistic growth, stewardship, and transformation.

We appreciated the rich dialogue, thoughtful engagement, and shared vision for how values-driven economic systems can empower communities, strengthen resilience, and open new pathways toward shared prosperity.

Creating Paths in Washington DC! As the Ascent Summit 2026 wraps up, we’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute to an important conversation on a hopeful witness with Ed Stetzer and Beth Moore.

Pathmakers Foundation was honored to present Churchenomics, with Dr. Charlie Self exploring the practical impact of economic theology and how faith-informed thinking can engage economics in the public square.
