Helping people better understand their finances inspired Coleman to enter the industry. His interest began as a young teen and grew through years of studying markets, investing independently, and seeking opportunities to learn from experienced professionals. While building a career in automotive sales, he developed connections that ultimately encouraged him to pursue a financial career of his own.

Driven by a desire to help others make investment decisions, Chris brought years of hands-on investing experience into a professional financial services role in 2023. After careers in sales and management, his passion for investing grew from a hobby into full-time independent investing. Chris was born in Washington, D.C., raised in Maryland, met his wife Alyssa at Oberlin College, and today lives in San Rafael with their three children. Book a discovery call with Chris today! Stocks finished the third quarter mixed. The S&P 500 gained 2.03%, and the Nasdaq Composite rose 2.47%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 2.70%. Halloween is next on the calendar, with U.S. consumers expected to spend \$13.5 billion USD this year and 6.26 million Canadian children in their trick-or-treating years.

Stocks were mixed in the third quarter as economic, geopolitical, and corporate earnings news pushed the broad market higher while weighing on the Dow Industrials.

Rachel is originally from Virginia and recently relocated to the Bay Area. She graduated from the College of William & Mary with a bachelor’s degree in economics and brings previous experience in administrative support and banking.

Throughout her previous roles, Rachel has developed a strong background in client service, organization, and supporting both customers and colleagues. She enjoys working with people and is excited to bring her experience to Equitable Advisors while continuing to grow professionally and learn more about the financial services industry.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys cooking and baking, exploring the Bay Area, and spending time with her golden retriever, Bear.

Markets pushed higher in August as AI-driven optimism helped investors look past softer economic data. The S&P 500 gained 2.62% and the S&P/TSX Composite rose 2.96%, even as softening retail sales kept consumer spending in focus. Back-to-school season adds another data point to that story, with spending expected to reach \$146.8 billion in the U.S. and \$4.5 billion in Canada this year.

Becca grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and recently relocated to the Bay Area with her background focused in politics and economics.

Fascinated by financial concepts, investing, and guiding others towards making informed financial decisions from a young age, Samuel was inspired to become a financial professional. He completed his licensing requirements in February 2026 and joined Equitable Advisors shortly thereafter. Born in Texas and raised in the Bay Area, he attended Berkeley High School before earning his degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Fun Facts: Outside of work, Samuel enjoys building and modifying cars, including engine swaps and performance upgrades, and taking them to the race track. He is also a passionate foodie who loves exploring new restaurants, cuisines, and unique dining experiences.
