📰 The US Government Moved Over 30k BTC to Coinbase

Yesterday, the US government moved over 30k BTC to Coinbase Prime. These are parts of the funds confiscated as a result of the Silk Road case. Note that recently, the US filed a notice to sell nearly 3k BTC.

Despite the ongoing legal tensions between the SEC and Coinbase, the US clearly plans to realize these funds. Exciting times.

🗣️ Traditional finances are once again interested in crypto assets

According to Goldman Sachs, there’s a resurgence in clients’ interest in crypto.

Lower key rates approach the US, which leads to more money on the market and more interest towards typically risky actives, such as crypto.

It is important to note that this isn’t limited to the US but is a global trend, as the London Stock Exchange just announced that it will launch the Bitcoin and Ethereum market on May 28th.

We’re getting closer and closer to the bull market, and things are heating up.

⚒️ Rollup-as-a-service, or RaaS, is a very relevant business model in Web 3 at the moment. All the big players, like BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and others, have stacks and complete frameworks that allow for the creation of custom L2 networks in their ecosystems.

It’s a notable thread, as RaaS gives these companies a significant revenue stream, and their tokens start to somewhat approach TradeFi stocks in value. E.g., you could stake $ARB from Arbitrum and get future rewards from rollups that launch on Arbitrum Orbits.

🐡 Blobs are already on Gnosis

Ahead of the tomorrow’s long-awaited Dencun upgrade on Ethereum, Gnosis Chain has already went live with blobs. Blobs promise to significantly cheapen each transaction by bunching them up together (into blobs), which brings us all a bit closer to mass adoption.

Upgrade should also hit Starknet tomorrow, and come to the other L2 networks in the following weeks.

⚡ Notcoin is selling not-tokens

There’s lately been a tendency on the crypto market to give out rewards in the form of vouchers instead of tokens, so-called pre-tokens.
In terms of hype, Notcoin is far ahead of the pack. It’s already been plenty farmed and, supposedly, the token will be minted any day now. Yet, no one knows the rate of exchange between these vouchers and the tokens, and then the actual listing price of $NOT.
What matters to us is not who farms it or how popular it is, but the fact that this pre-token is already integrated into the TG wallet, where it's used for bonuses and a referral system. So, on one hand, these vouchers don’t really have any value at the moment, and no one knows what their worth will turn out to be. On the other, they’ve already proven themselves as a great onboarding tool, as a ridiculous amount of people joined the TG wallet.
What's next? Probably nothing
