Mortgage rates are still elevated as inflation and Federal Reserve uncertainty continue to impact the market.

The good news is buyers are still active. Pending home sales increased again in April, showing that serious buyers are continuing to move forward despite higher rates.

We’re also seeing signs that future housing inventory could improve as builders increase new project permits.

Bottom line: the market is still moving, and opportunities still exist for buyers who are prepared and informed.
