Happy Friday!! Let’s talk about the home buying process 🙌🏼
For a lot of people, it’s hard to know where to even begin. It can be very overwhelming to think about, especially if you’ve never done it before. So let’s break it down into smaller steps, to get you on your way to your new home 🏠
There are two main parts to purchasing the home. There’s the Real Estate side, which is looking at properties, writing offers, property inspections, contracts, and negotiations with the seller. And then there is the Lending side, which deals with how much you can get a loan for in order to purchase the home. In most cases, these are two separate people you’d be dealing with during the entire transaction 🧐
When purchasing a home, we always have to start with getting preapproved for a loan. Most Real Estate agents will not show you properties without it. The reason for this, is to make sure you’re looking at homes you can afford and are qualified for, so we don’t waste anyone’s time. In this market, you have to be willing to move quick with seeing homes you like, and getting offers in. Without a loan preapproval, you cannot submit an offer 🖊️ 📑
