About Christina Harmes

Christina is a dedicated Reverse Mortgage professional, Reverse Mortgages is what she does- all day Monday through Friday. Christina is C2's #1 producer of both FHA and Jumbo Reverse Mortgages. She has over 10 years of experience in Real Estate, Mortgage Lending, and the last 6 years dedicated to just Reverse Mortgages. As one of only 163 Certified Reverse Mortgage Professionals (CRMP) nationwide, she was the youngest to ever achieve this highest designation in the reverse mortgage industry, 4 years ago. Christina makes the complex easy to understand with her straight forward and clear explanations of what can be a confusing topic: Reverse Mortgages.

Getting an early start in her Father’s mortgage office during high school, Christina Harmes knows her way around real estate and mortgages. While earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics at SDSU she continued to work in her father’s office and gained the real-world experience where she could apply her education. She loves being able to help people find the right solution for their specific situation.

Before coming back to the dedicated & client centered business of helping people with their reverse mortgages, for 3 years Christina Harmes was the National Assistant Manager for C2 Reverse, the reverse division of C2 Financial Corp, the largest Mortgage Broker in the US. After years building a premier reverse mortgage division from scratch, along side her Father, Scott Harmes, she missed the every day client interaction and impacting people's lives with the personal touch. She decided to step down from management and shift her focus back to helping the homeowners on a one-on-one basis to find their right fit with a reverse mortgage.

Having grown up in San Diego, Christina believes it’s important to give back to the community she loves. She spends every Saturday morning September through April in the cold Pacific Ocean coaching the Varsity Surf team for her Alma Mater High School, Academy of Our Lady of Peace, with a team of over 40 surfers. She participates every year at a local Senior Center dressing up as Alice (Alice in Wonderland) to help MC the Annual Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and she is a founding member of the National Aging in Place Council San Diego Chapter.
